7:49 AM]The Truest Dragon:

do you know how to use an nbt editor?

[7:50 AM]Driser:

im sure i can learn

[7:50 AM]Driser:

but im using a seperate company to host would i be able to edit anything?

[7:51 AM]The Truest Dragon:

first you will need to find the region file, in a server it’s <pack>/world/region and in singleplayer it’s in <pack>/saves/worldname/region

[7:51 AM]The Truest Dragon:

the file we need is indicated here

[7:51 AM]The Truest Dragon:

Region: (-5,-1;

[7:51 AM]The Truest Dragon:

so r.-5.-1.mca

[7:52 AM]The Truest Dragon:

copy it out to another folder like downloads for instance

[7:53 AM]The Truest Dragon:

download and install https://github.com/jaquadro/NBTExplorer/releases/download/v2.8.0-win/NBTExplorer-2.8.0.msi

[7:53 AM]Driser:

ok

[7:53 AM]The Truest Dragon:

and open the mca file with that

[7:54 AM]The Truest Dragon:

this part tells which chunk from the region we will need to edit Chunk: (at 1,5,8 in -130,-28;

[7:54 AM]The Truest Dragon:

the first 3 numbers don’t mean anything to use, but -130,-128 do, they’ll be on the far right, scroll down till you find them in that order

[7:54 AM]The Truest Dragon:

expand that chunk

[7:55 AM]Driser:

expanded it

[7:55 AM]Driser:

ty for the help btw

[7:55 AM]The Truest Dragon:

this part tells us the block coordinate causing the issue

[7:55 AM]The Truest Dragon:

Entity’s Block location: World: (-2079,84,-440)

[7:56 AM]Driser:

i dont have a entitys block location

[7:56 AM]Driser:

[7:56 AM]The Truest Dragon:

it could be either an entity or tileentity, there will be subfolders that can be expanded for both, it’s not giving us a name, so we’ll have to look through expanding everything until we find the position that matches

[7:56 AM]The Truest Dragon:

click on “level”(edited)

[7:57 AM]Driser:

[7:57 AM]The Truest Dragon:

@👷STAFF:GENERAL look at how i’m handling this, this is how you would edit all kinds of data in minecraft

[7:58 AM]The Truest Dragon:

you can see there it says entities 0 and we got lucky so we don’t have to go thru that, expand tileentities(edited)

[7:59 AM]Driser:

[7:59 AM]The Truest Dragon:

look for the x and y

[7:59 AM]Driser:

doesnt all fit on my screen sorry

[7:59 AM]The Truest Dragon:

does’t matter, you need to find the one that matches x:-2079, y:84, z:-440)

[8:00 AM]The Truest Dragon:

if none match we’ll delete the chunk

[8:00 AM]Driser:

[8:00 AM]The Truest Dragon:

there you go

[8:00 AM]Driser:

this one has matching x and y

[8:00 AM]The Truest Dragon:

left click on 8 entries and then up at the top click on the red x to delete it

[8:01 AM]The Truest Dragon:

remember the crash report shows that techguns caused the issue, even tho it is astral we’re deleting

[8:01 AM]The Truest Dragon:

like how you are good person but that other person near is giving you stress.

[8:01 AM]Driser:

poof its been snapped

[8:01 AM]The Truest Dragon:

now hit the disk icon at the top to save your changes

[8:01 AM]The Truest Dragon:

then copy it back to where you found it

[8:02 AM]The Truest Dragon:

you can edit player.dat files and lots of other data found in the world folder with nbtexplorer
