Perfect Homemade Lemonade Recipe

Sometimes the simplest recipes turn out to be the most satisfying. After a bit of personal experimentation, I’ve found the perfect lemonade recipe that strikes a refreshing balance between sweet and tart—without any refined sugar. This version uses a monk fruit and erythritol blend, making it ideal for low-carb or diabetic-friendly diets.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup monk fruit with erythritol blend
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 5 extra cups cold ice water

Instructions:
In a pint or quart jar, combine the monk fruit and the 1.5 cups of water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and stir until no crystals remain visible. Pour the mixture into a 32-oz container, then add the 1/3 cup lemon juice. Stir again a few times while in the container. Finally, top off with the 5 cups of cold ice water. Give it one last stir, and it’s ready to serve.

Serves: 16 cups

This method keeps the lemon flavor bright and lively while giving you a smooth sweetness that doesn’t spike your blood sugar. It’s perfect for summer days, family gatherings, or just keeping hydrated while working on a big project.

Give it a try—once you taste it, you may never go back to store-bought lemonade again.
