Planetsmith feels instantly familiar to any Minecrafter—WASD to move, Shift to crouch, Ctrl to run, Space to jump, E to open your pack—but it freshens the loop: every ore or log you break pops straight into your inventory, no scatter-and-scramble.

The in-game Guide says “punch dirt for rocks,” yet the real trick is tossing dirt onto a campfire (yep, the campfire doubles as your crafting table) and cooking it into stone. Once you figure that out the early grind flows, even if the Guide’s wording is a bit cryptic.

Robot-men-slash-zombies roam the night, but kite them and they go down fast—circle-strafe, back-pedal, swing, repeat. The tougher question is what to do after the tutorial’s tasks end; progression beyond the Guide still needs discovery.
