Today in legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/night-and-day-nad I realize that my mod Burn in the Sun does respect helmets on the head. I do test putting glass overhead to no avail, still got that burn. And the animals, while showing on the map are really just places where you can find precooked meat.
