Out of the gate, the game launched natively on Linux, but I hit a sudden crash early on. Thankfully, switching to Proton Hotfix gave it a new lease on life, and from that point on, performance was buttery smooth. Expect zero onboarding and minimal UI handholding — you’re dropped straight into the action, and figuring things out is part of the charm.

Despite its graphically modest appearance, Zero Point Survivor is shockingly addictive.
