We are checking out Moon Garden, a super charming and cozy space incremental game where you plant flowers, build bots, and try to grow a massive tree to escape back home. While the vibes are immaculate, the current demo has a few rough edges that can completely break your run if you aren’t careful.
In this video, we dive into the gameplay loop, check out the minigames, and highlight a couple of crucial mechanical issues you need to know before playing. Specifically, look out for a formatting error on one of the resource machines and a major trap in the bot building section: the game currently allows you to over-assign bots without any warning, which can permanently softlock your progress. Make sure you assign exactly one bot per task early on to avoid having to delete your save file and start fresh.
Despite needing a bit more polish in the automation menu, the core loop is incredibly fun for fans of clickers and idlers.
