The Peasants Are Coming! is a lane tower-defense game with a strong Monty Python’s The Flying Circus itch-fulfillment value, and after several hours it is still easy to get into and genuinely fun. It is not an idler, but it is most certainly an incremental: miss a perfect clear and what you earned still accrues for upgrades, so there is no real setback.

This video shows 30 more minutes of gameplay, the opening of a new map, and the placement of some fresh equipment. I also went after the 161-second achievement on the second map and missed it, but it only gets better from here.
